"Thanks for the faith in my new found skills Gareth, I do think a complete boom is a bit of a leap though, and expensive if I get it wrong. I did after all, for the mast repairs, have the benefit of a tutorial and online advice from the Master Mast Builder himself Mr Chipstow. Have to say, Mr Chipstow knows how.\r\n\r\nSo if anyone does have and old unwanted or broken carbon boom, I'm interested."

When is the wolf getting wet? Well I did say to Dougal he can have a test the mast and sail her before Dinghy Week if she's ready (and if she's got M10 bolts fitted). You never know the wolf might be available that week for the event.
