"Ok, we are on the runners and riders list, we have a house, we have stickers for Millbay etc. Now, any advice on getting the trailer over to the beach and ourselves across there each day? I understand the ferry is OK as long as the tide is out or there its a long walk?"

.. and if you are on Millbay don't forget to grease your launching trolly wheels/bearings - makes life that bit little easier pulling the boat up across the sand after a hard race :-)

"Alan - it is all very straightforward. The club runs a trolley service from Shadycombe dinghy park ramp to Mill Bay all day on Sat and return trip on the final Friday. You launch, give your trolley and cover to the SYC team and sail over. There are also plenty of playmates with their own boats who can help out as well. On sailing days, it is normally pretty easy to cadge a lift from people in your flight or you can take the Ferry. Whether the tide is in or out it is a very pleasant 300m walk either along the foreshore or the road which runs to the back of Mill Bay beach."
