"I hope no one minds me posting this charity event here. \r\n\r\nPlease don't ask me why but a select team of 4 non-elite highly untrained cyclists are attempting to cycle from Land End to John O'Groats unsupported in 8 days (Yep carrying our own sudocrem). This is to raise money for two really important charities that touch many of us : Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and St Mungos which helps and inspires homeless people.\r\n\r\nWe start on May 10th (our route is described here : http://blog.cronky.net/blog/ ) and we will post regular updates containing the more interesting and amusing bits - not the usual cycle bore stuff (e.g. my legs are tired, my botty is a bit sore). We also hope to have a live tracker (don't expect it to be moving very quickly). I could well have bitten off more than I can chew with this one. \r\n\r\nMany thanks to all those that help support this - it will be a huge incentive and greatly appreciated. \r\n\r\nFingers crossed the wind is blowing from the south! \r\n\r\n(After this I am chucking the bike in the skip and looking forward to some lovely boating. BAU)\r\n\r\nCheers,\r\nAndy"
