Ross,
thank you so much for your efforts in seeking to help me with this. However, I've just found an inbox full of scans from Rod and Jo, who have beaten you to the punch on this. So, I just have 2004 to complete (I left a gap in the hope that someone had the mag) then tonight/tomorrow I ought to be able to finish Chapter 7. This is yet another major milestone in the progress of the book, for Ch7, the last in the book (though Ch6 is still only part written) will be the biggest and already has broken the 30,000 word waypoint - almost a book within a book!. It only covers less than 200 boats, but a full 15 year period, a period that has been as 'defining' within the class as the move from narrow to wide boats.
So thanks Ross, I'm sure I'll be back soon with the 'begging bowl' as I turn my attention to Ch 6!

Hi Mags,
Thank you for the offer but I've now wrapped up Chapter 7, 2000- 2014. I'm now fully focused on the period 1987-1999, an exciting time in the history of the class with masts raking, going deck stepped, carbon being banned then allowed, the rise and rise of the Tales.... I will be coming out with requests for help with this period as I moved abroad for a time during these years so am light on detail.
Any pictures from this period - yes please!
