Hi all, looking at clubs for 2014.  It is looking like Royal Corinthian at Axbridge or Chew Valley Lake as I can't find any others within a reasonable distance.  Any views or knowledge of these clubs as a base for racing Merlin Rockets appreciated.

We're members of BCYC at Axbridge but hardly get over there (and Shearwater's nearer). I'll drop you an email later.

Come and have a look at Chew; Rick Knapp sails his Merlin there regularly. There is one other. BCYC used to be Merlin Rocket central, but, sadly not any more. GCS

Why not come over and check out the lake at Chew ?  It's a big enough lake to make challenging sailing, especially if its howling from the south. If you would like to visit please drop me an email so  II can be there to show you around. Autumn and Winter sailing at Chew can be excellent with more stable winds than the summer . We need more Merlins here !
