I have decided that my boat has to go as I need the garage space and I cannot see myself having time to finish renovating it and then sailing it. She is a Rowsell built smokers, No. 3150 and has been in my garage unsailed for the last 17 years. Decks are mostly stripped, hull ready for painting but inside untouched and just needs a rub down and varnish. I have replaced a small piece of the floor near a bailer. Then all the bits need to be put back on, most of which I should be able to find, I started this job about 5 years ago. I guess that the ropes might need renewing after all this time. There are a few sails the best is a suit of Batts with mylar main that had about 4 years use. The Rapide combi trolley/trailer looks good with no rust but the tyres, although they seem to stay up, are probably a bit dodgy being about 20years old and I think that the suspension has seized up. I might risk using it slowly. I am in North Devon near South Molton. Contact me for more info. if interested. I don't want anything for her but would like to see her go to a good home.
