Que??????????

1946, 1947, 1949 and 1950...... Seventh Heaven may have 3 but Gently has 4 wins to her credit!(the perfect score was 'blotted' in 1948 when she could only manage 3rd!)

Having sailed the boat recently in the Tideway (report to come in the next MR Mag) it makes you realise that the early sailors in the class must have been real supermen (and super ladies!). It is not just the heavy wooden spars and cotton sails, but a total lack of 'controls' - no clew or cunningham and only the most rudimentary of kickers.....

That said, Seventh heaven does look..... wonderful!

Well, it's still the only boat to win the champs three times - just Gently did it four!!

Either way i'm amazed that noone has gone for her, she's in lovely condition and needs a good home. Roger just wants a sensible offer.

Also the boat the mould was taken from for the Naylor / Bagley boats.

If I remember my o level maths (set theory) correctly I believe Gently won the champs both 3 and 4 times?

So it's the only boat to have won the Champs 3 times but not 4 times?

Gently share equal first in 1950 so does that make it 3.5 wins? (Beecher Moore helmed and Ian Proctor crewed)
