Topic : Anyone seen the new Jo Richards design yet?

Heard rumours that it was being launched for the first time last weekend. What's it like-does it float?

It looks beautiful, of course, but there was too much pressure to launch it last weekend...Salcombe week will be it's first outing, I think.

Come on someone must have seen it! A brief decription might suffice. Doubtless if at SAlcombe there will be lots of pictures!

Go on then, send me a set. Or simply upload them to Imageshack (http://imageshack.us/), Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/) or your Facebook page, then post links here.

Someone at Salcombe must have a camera and be able to post some pictures for those of us that cannot be there ......

Seen the pictures, looks a bit different, but no that radical; is it fast that is the question!

I hear it's just won this afternoon's race, not bad for a new boat that's probably not even fully tweaked yet.

Hard to tell how fast it is at Salcombe.....so many variables.

Rear tanks are "in" this year then. That centre console is sooo tidy too.

Glad I got my aft tank installed before it became fashionable then.

She does look lovely, not sure about the kink in the gunwale aft, but that could just be a shadow on the pics.

Looks like a fairly conservative fit out, standard console + square top hoop. Extra stiffening rib mid way down the helm area is a good idea too, especially for those of above waif stature.

Great to see another new design. Anyone know when the mould will be taken and a plastic one will hit the water?

Added some comments to the photos. An interesting ship and some echoes on Moondance Assassin on the gunwale and fore parts but fairly narrow aft to get the power down on the gunwale. Gunwale reminds me more of Dumptruck for those who remember. Not an inland boat but straight line monster.

Andy - is there a photo of your aft tank anywhere then? Retro-fitting one must have been tricky. Was it in wood?

I'll send you some pics next week. Wasn't tricky at all, gave the boat to Jon Turner and .....
