Heard rumours that it was being launched for the first time last weekend. What's it like-does it float? |
It looks beautiful, of course, but there was too much pressure to launch it last weekend...Salcombe week will be it's first outing, I think. |
Come on someone must have seen it! A brief decription might suffice. Doubtless if at SAlcombe there will be lots of pictures! |
If anyone is interested ping me an email and I'll pop over some pictures. |
of the boat? |
Go on then, send me a set. Or simply upload them to Imageshack (http://imageshack.us/), Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/) or your Facebook page, then post links here. |
Alex, I wouldn't mind having a peak at the photos [boat that is] |
Someone at Salcombe must have a camera and be able to post some pictures for those of us that cannot be there ...... |
Jeremy |
Seen the pictures, looks a bit different, but no that radical; is it fast that is the question! |
I hear it's just won this afternoon's race, not bad for a new boat that's probably not even fully tweaked yet. |
Hard to tell how fast it is at Salcombe.....so many variables. |
Richard - can you get the pics to Mags, for publication for those not on the distribution list ... |
Hi Andy, Just emailed Mags with pics. Cheers. |
Here you go. It's very black... http://www.merlinrocket.co.uk/gallery/default.asp?folder=gallery/building_and_repairs/jo_richards_design_2012 |
That link should be X-rated! v.nice |
HOT DAMN! Gotta have one...but I said that when I saw the new Turner boat and the General Lee, thank God I am out of the country! |
Rear tanks are "in" this year then. That centre console is sooo tidy too. |
Glad I got my aft tank installed before it became fashionable then. |
Added some comments to the photos. An interesting ship and some echoes on Moondance Assassin on the gunwale and fore parts but fairly narrow aft to get the power down on the gunwale. Gunwale reminds me more of Dumptruck for those who remember. Not an inland boat but straight line monster. |
Andy - is there a photo of your aft tank anywhere then? Retro-fitting one must have been tricky. Was it in wood? |
I'll send you some pics next week. Wasn't tricky at all, gave the boat to Jon Turner and ..... |
