For the last week or so I have been finding this website very slow which is odd as I do not have the same issue with any other site. I just wondered if anyone else is having the same problem? It just seems to take a very long time to load the next page.

I would appreciate feedback as it took me so long to type this!! If there is an issue it will also bring it to Mags' attention.

+1 from me, takes ages to refresh - maybe its the anti spam measures.

I don't think it is possible the anti-spam measures are causing speed issues.
All I can do is bring the matter to the attention of our web hosts.

Alternates between quite quick on occaisions and slow to the point of timing out.  It is worst (I think) in the evenings.

Mags, I've sent you a har file containing some slow browsing responses - may be of use when dealing with hosting firm.

First opening this evening was incredibly slow, 30+s to open an item on the Forum; I was about to post a message saying, 'not slow, stopped'!. A couple of minutes later, it's like greased lightning.

Really is getting quite frustrating now. Also the links are no longer turning purple when I have looked and going blue again when there is a new comment.

It was so slow for me this AM doubtless a server problem and traffic on the site too.

Not as slow as it has been but slow enough for me to abandon twice this morning. Surely this should have been resolved during the 10 days since it was first reported.

Just tried it again, whole process from clicking on site in my favourites to starting this post took about 5 seconds. Never ever so fast before, what's going on?

Folks, the most important question to answer now is:
Is it slow all over the website, or just slow in the forum?

The word I would use is "erratic", but frankly no more the so than any web based service at the moment. On occasions its lightening fast and then on others S L O W. Certainly faster late evening and early morning.

Erratic is a good description. The whole thing is slow but then given another try later seems fine. When I first started this thread it had been perminantly slow for a week or two but seems much better now. 

I do find on occasions that I cannot access it at all when the rest of the net is working fine.

Mags, I've noticed slow load times on both the home page and the forum and forum posts. 

Not encountered slow loading elsewhere on the site but then I use the rest of the site so infrequently that it's not indicative of much.
