By my calculations (which were pretty easy with only one race!) Fran won the Silver Tiller Meeting with Ben Archer Second!! Nice one guys!

A very encouraging 5th place for Dave "Bosnia" Dobrijevic and Jeremy Williamson, sailing WICKED for the very first time, and with a 3 years old suit of DS sails.
What happened to Jon Turner? He seems to have entered, but did not take part in the races.

I believe John like myself only turned up for the Sunday which was a bit of a let down on the weather front.  I think after people like me hassling him around the course for a while he became fed up and retired.  Can't really blame him.  Very light winds with Very strong tides don't really go as i found out the hard way...

I see that the dramatic changes in the 12 class have swelled numbers at the Warming Pan - MR's need to get those smooth hulls. wires and hydrofoils as soon as possible.

Good work Steve Storey on his first Merlin report for 2012! Not only did he actually turn up and watch, but the report is descriptive and well written with no spelling mistakes or mis-use of apostrophes! Well done,  10/10 !!
