just looked at the fixture list for this year, may I query if barnt Green are really holding a meeting ?

9 Midland events. Excellent.
The records may show that Barnt Green were one of the original members of the Circuit. This Club produces some good sailors and has former Endeavour Champions as members and coaches.
Come to the pleasant Midlands scenery of the Lickey Hills.

The 5 Merlins at Ragley SC have moved to Barnt Green as Ragley SC has closed. hence the reason for having a Midland Circuit Open at Barnt Green - we used to hold events at Ragley up until perhaps 10 years ago but the lake was fairly small and shallow which did cause problems.
Ragley SC closed as the landowners, Ragley Hall, decided that they wanted to run rowing boats for hire on the lake and as the SC did not have exclusive rights to the water, sailing became untenable.
