MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Felucca 2011 at Hollingworth

The Felucca is ON !!
Water levels are down 2.5 metres in prepartion for work to be carried out. This has reduced the available sailing area however at the present time there is plenty of water on which to hold the Felucca. Launching is off a stony beach in front of the club house which can be a bit muddy but quite manageable.
Notice of Race and pics of water level will be on HLSC web site very soon
Come and join us on the 8th and 9th October - its always a good party !!

The final arrangements are being made and we could do with an idea of numbers for Saturday/Sunday catering purposes. If you know that you're definitely coming and who indeed would want to miss out the Legendary Felucca Dinner? could you either respond via forum or ping me/Richard Whitworth an email? See you all on Saturday.

Are fixed rudders sensible, or should i get my lifter finished?

No need for lifting rudders, the water is more than deep enough quite close to the shore as Andrew Hilton will testify
