Anyone who is contemplating bringing a boat MUST bring a liifting rudder. The tide is currently well out at Banbury and I will not allow any Merlin to sail without a lifting rudder. Currently we are sailing on 3/4 plate on most of the water and less in places.
Anyone who is coming with a boat and does not have a lifting rudder should contact me immediately with the distance between the bearing surfaces on their pintles as I can get my hands on a few lifting rudders.

Numbers are fluctuating but we generally have circa 20 ladies which was our aim. Anyone else would be very welcome. Weather is looking good. Big thank you to Richard without whom we probably wouldn't be as organised as we are!
