Can I be the first to post a message of thanks for the hospitality shown to the visitors yesterday, the duty crews were fantastic, and special thanks to the rib crew who saved our boat from a very abrupt shortening, and the legendary lunch was...legendary. Thanks to all for a memorable day. |
Excellent hospitality, interesting courses and a set of results that would have baffled Einstein!! |
Does anyone know who took the pictures of this event? as I wouldnt mind a copy of the rib rescue.. |
Hi Alley, I think it was someone from TVSC - I exchanged emails with John Richardson soon after the event and he was fairly sure photos of the whole event including the dramatic rib intervention were going to be posted on the TVSC web site, but I haven't seen any yet - I would like to see how it looked from another perspective - I have recurring flashbacks of how it looked from on board! Seriously though, thanks again - it was a courageous thing to do in the circumstance and saved our boat! |
I think it was Jim Hopton's lad who had the camera. He promised to send them to the merlin website, I haven't seen any though, there should be some good ones of me practicing my breast stroke |
Pete still has the pics and i will hasstle him to send them on. |
