The Upper Thames Open Meeting commences on Saturday 7th May 2011 at 1400hrs, with registration from 1100hrs.  Two races back-to-back, competing for The Spade Oak Bowl.  This is also designated a De May Series event.

Sunday sees three races, commencing at 1100 hrs, for The Allen Challenge Cup.  Two races back-to-back before lunch and one race after. This is also designated a Thames Series Event, with two races to count.

A supper is planned for Saturday evening with the menu being Chicken Breast with white wine cream and Mushrooms, followed by Creme Brulee, coffee and mints. The meal is available at a cost of £12.50 per person, or £9.00 for cadets.

As an extra bonus, the club’s ‘Happy Hour’ falls on Friday 6th May, between 1900-2000 hrs, so why not start preparing early for the event and pitch a tent in Sin City?
