MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Tresaith Regatta

There was some discussion as to the date of the Tresaith Regatta however I can confirm it is on the 29th/30th July for those of you wanting to return or indeed take part for the first time.

TMSC always welcome the Merlin fleet for fun on and off the water with the marquee/bar on the beach, a band for Saturday night, beach fires, Hog Roast and a full two days sailing (what more could you possibly want?) Accommodation is booking up fast so get in quick if you're planning to go. Lots to do for families to do too.

If you need further information please contact me via email.

Hope to see you there.

Can strongly echo comments above. We were made exceptionally welcome last year; the sailing was excellent, the socialising was full on and Tresaith was a fabulous spot. Sadly this year's date conflicts with business or we would already have confirmed our booking at The Ship Inn. We hope to be back in 2012.

So, we're off a week tomorrow weather permitting. As far as I understand there may well be a number of us there. Anyone else for a spot of sailing, beer, pig roast, dolphin watching and a party on the beach?

Great to see the Merlin fleet back at Tresaith, I hope all who came had a good time. We did try to lay on as much weather as possible, light on Saturday and blowing dogs off chains offshore on Sunday. Melin results were 1st Mr Tosh well done, 4th Ben Hollis & Chris Gould, with Andrew & Nina Rafty in 15th. The dolphins did make an appearance early on Saturday morning but must have been scared off by the shiney Merlins by the time we got out. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year, spread the word and bring more shiney boats next year. Great as always to see you guys.
