On Sunday 31 boats turned up, 29 sailed. There was not allot of wind but got 3 races in 4 flights sailed. The old narrow boats proved the way to go with Richard Harris taking the chocolates closely followed by Martin Hunter and Mike Stephens. Top 3:

Saturday:
Guy pearce Trophey 19 boats
1st - 774 Martin Hunter & Jilly Blake
2nd - 1097 Mike Stephens and Joe Tosh
3rd - 2926 Jeremy & Jo Deacon

Vintage Event 10 or 11 boats I think
1st - 774 Martin Hunter & Jilly Blake
2nd - 1097 Mike Stephens and Joe Tosh
3rd - 2926 Jeremy & Jo Deacon

Was a good weekends sailing shame you missed it.

'Passing Cloud' no. 1079 triumphed again. The 3rd and 4th generations of the Harris family Richard and Harry won at Cookham sailing the Jack Holt boat built for my father Harry Harris 51 years ago. The 2nd boat sailed by Martin Hunter and the 3rd by Mike Stephens were also built by Jack Holt.

Sorry to be picky Jez

but you result for sunday is wrong

Joe Tosh did crew for Mike Stephens on the Saturday
Jack Tosh crewed for Dad Tosh 3650 on Sat

Sunday 2nd place (Martin Hunter Ship) was not crewed by Joe Tosh but by Jack Tosh age 8.

Joe Tosh was the unfortunate crew who crewed for Daddy Tosh 3650 who managed to sink the boat who I think finished up 7th

Still 3 Tosh's in top 10

I actually did not mention the crews on Sunday as I was not sure who Crewed for Mike stephens and could not remember which young Tosh was in which boat!! Either way you should both be very proud of them, they did a slendid job with either winning or swimming!!

It was great event and thanks to all the organisers and for Pat's help and comments.
Sad about the lack of wind for most of the boats. Obviously nearer the back of the fleet thre was more wind with all the flapping going on ahead.
More rock and rolling than at an Elvis concert!

As in previous years, the race entry fees for the Guy Pearce Memorial Trophy are donated to the RNLI - with 18 entries that makes £90. Many thanks to all competitors!
The new Peter Flanagan Trophy, presented for the first time to the highest placed Cookham boat on the Sunday, went to Jeremy and Jo Deacon (3645).
