Dear all,

Some of you may know know me, many of you will not. I used to sail with my father Robert (you will all know him) back in the day.

Anyway in a moment of madness, I've been persuaded to cycle from London to Paris over 3 days at the end of May in aid of the National Autistic Society.

The National Autistic Society is the leading UK charity for people with autism including Asperger syndrome) and their families, providing information, support and pioneering services, and campaigning for a better world for people with autism.

Please support William's appeal. I have a close friend with a son who has Asberger's Syndrome. She's in her 60s, he's in his early 20s. Money is tight and life is difficult for both of them but her biggest worry is - what will happen to him when she's gone?
