I am aware that some of the coastal clubs don't sail over the winter. 
At Sutton Bingham Sailing Club, we sail throughout the year - and offer a temporary 'winter' membership to enable coastal sailors to boost our numbers and add to the fun over our 'winter' and 'freezer' series races.
 
There are two Merlin Rockets at our club at the moment, (including mine). Last year another joined us for a few races, (and gave me a good thrashing) and he will be coming along this winter too.
It could make for some very exciting racing if we could get a little fleet of rockets together. I have already  sent an e-mail to Castle Cove and Weymouth Sailing Clubs, so hope to pursuade some of them.
  
Here's an opportunity to keep keep your skills honed by racing with us over the winter, so that they will be on top form when you return to your normal club when they start again in the spring.
