Forecasts are looking promising for a sunny Champs, although light to medium northerlies could be shifty - JC might have an advantage with the venue guide from the Daily Sail, although we all have read that now, right?

Plenty more space in the dinghy / car park (we might have to panic if we approach 75 entrants though), so come one down to what looks like a very sunny Cornwall. Loads to do for the family, so many prizes I cannot work out how to allocate them (including four prizes worth £200 plus), fantastic tee shirts, great patch of water to play in and a Si Blakioooo disco to round off the week. What more could a Merlin Rocket sailor require?
I cannot wait. See you on Saturday. Registration from 10am ish or when we arrive.

IF they new anything they would .................. be clever!
But seriously, when have 5 day forecasts ever been sufficiently accurate to make any (big or small) boat sailing decision??

Whatever the wind and weather have a good Championships, the Merlin Rocket Class has an honourable track record of the most of it whatever the weather! I am sure the best persons will win. The long term (10 day European.) forcast looks unsettled it's that deep low settled over the Dogger Bank that seems to be giving erratic conditions from Sweden to Rockall and down into the Bay of Biscay.
