practice before Penance?

I don't know why it's not in the same schedule, but the Sunday (8 Aug) is HISC Regatta, handicap racing with less classes than Fed Week. Good chance to refresh the memory of harbour marks before the main event. Also gets you a better parking space!
I think 'Armed Forces' will be sulking in the garage, we will be lurking in the RS400 fleet.

I have sailed at many of the dinghy week events, Rock, Salcombe, Pyfleet, Whitstable, Falmouth, Dartmouth, and others and have to say Fed Week is up there with the best, all at the amazing value of £38 including great socials (and no hidden extra costs) with ample balcony views over stunning Chichester Harbour. I understand that we have 12 Merlin enteries. Accomodation/Camping is cheap and available, also crash facilities with local Merlin sailors. Long term BBC weather is also looking good.Worth considering?
