MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Shoreham Open Info

Just a few bits of info about this weekend's open.

We will be sharing with the Fireball's this year for the first time in a few years. I hear they expecting 30+ boats, so it should be a good social!!

For those who wish to camp on the club grounds (it's free), it maybe wise to grab an early pitch. Can I kindly request tents are pitched behind the clubhouse, away from residential homes that back onto the club.

The grounds and bar will be open Friday evening for any early arrivals. Plenty of places to eat in town.

There's plenty of free parking right beside the club, but if this does get full up there is another pay and display carpark a few minutes walk away (it's pretty cheap.)

This year we will be having a BBQ with desert and free drink, rather than a curry (sorry Pat...) There will also be 2 large barrels of beer. One will be marked Merlin, the other Fireball. You get the idea!! ;-))

The NOR and entry form can be found on the link below. 2 races a day.

Any questions?

Possibly Warwick Baker (warwickpics.co.uk)if it was a large blue RIB. Keep an eye on his site for the photos - sometimes takes a few days.
