No where on earth is that probable let alone sunny Salcombe/

wouldn't like to be in Plymouth on Friday, according to Met-Check it gets up t0 423 mph

weather outlook looks quite good at present. Not too much rain and lightish winds. Hopefully could get some good pm sea breezes setting in with a bit of luck, like we used to years ago!

It's intended for pilots of paragliders, hang gliders, sailplanes etc. These activities are even more weather dependant than Merlin Rocket racing so reliable weather forecasting is important. It is based on data received automatically from numerous airports and airfields throughout  the country.

This morning X-Country Weather is  forecasting early morning rain on Sunday for Plymouth/Exeter followed by sunshine until about 4.0 pm when the area will cloud over. Wind up to 15 mph SW. Mostly sunny through to Tuesday with lighter winds increasing later on Tuesday.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out

Yes I agree with Robert - XC Weather is a very good site.
Also for those of us who grew up looking at proper weather maps with isobars and fronts try this one.
It looks as if there is high presure established to south west of the UK, over the bay of Biscay, which is pushing a series of lows north.
The high stays quite near to Salcombe most of the time so generaly the weather looks good with SW to NW winds but sometimes some fronts will probably reach us to cause less good weather at times.
Whatever.....I cant wait!
