Topic : Spinnaker measurements

I fancy having a go at making a spinnaker. Does anybody have measurements for fairly modern cut? leech length, foot length, and the relevant measurements for measuring against class rules.

The only spinnaker I have was probably the original one, it looks ancient.

Any help gratefully received!

Hull and sail rules are hosted by the RYA, see link (if it still works, they change it often).

Hiya,

Leeches tend to be 4500-ish, foots about 2800, quarters about 3100, half's at 2700 and three-quarter height about 1550.

You can play with dimensions to suit your shape, as long as you stay within 10 sqm according to the formula in the rules.

Good luck!
