I've checked the yearbook and cannot find this sail number amongst the current members.

Someone here may know. It was extremely windy last Friday evening with winds over 50mph so that might explain it.

Coastgaurd said they found it drifting with centerboard down, self bailers closed, no sails, thought it had broken loose from mooring but had to check

According to the old year books the last registered owner of 2864 'Skadi' was E. Sawitzki, 32 Clay Loan, Kirkwall, Orkney.

The name of the owner is Mr Scott. The coastguard are not permitted to release his address. If the MROA wish to contact Mr Scott they suggest phoning the Kirkwall Harbour Master.

We don't need to contact him. I'm just glad he wasn't drowned.
