MR 3699 is alive and well, black hull single string Winder. Has been sailing at Hollingworth Lake this past week.

Owner is Andy Pilkington, who is carrying an injury, so is being sailed by Ian Platt and Alex Pilkington.

Andy let my 13 year old son and I have a shot in this boat at Bass week recently. As Twelve sailors we're always lusting after a Merlin so it was very nice that someone in the fleet gave us the opportunity to have a go. Very refined compared to the Twelve and a third sail to play with! We're probably a bit light for one at the moment at less than 17 stone all up but hopefully we'll be big enough sometime soon. Thanks Andy!
