For the avoidance of doubt please note that contrary to the statement under "Fixtures/Events" on this web-site the third race on Saturday 24th April sailed in memory of Guy Pearce will be held this year without reference to the Merlin Age Related Handicap System and therefore the result wil be based on the "first past the post" basis.  The Vintage Racing Handicap for the De May series is not affected.
