I heard on the radio that a dog has twice the Carbon footprint of a Landcruiser.
What is the Carbon Footprint of a Merlin Rocket?
Humans are 14 tonnes per year.

All the carbon in a modern merlin, I'd say about 12 dogs. Is there more carbon in wood than carbon? if you see what I mean.

I'd have thought a Merlin would be carbon negative - bearing in mind we're trying to avoid releasing carbon into the atmosphere in its dioxide form, tying it all up in masts and things must be environmentally good news...

Depends if you drive 50 miles in a massive car to get to your launch site...

and you would double the dog's footprint if you ran it over with the land cruiser...

Do you ever find yourself trading emissions with your dog?

Every can of Pedigree Chum should come with a carbon offset and a tree seedling to plant. Removal of CO2 and something to lift their leg against for years to come!!

surely it can't be long before one of our four legged friends put the canine case to the forum.
