We're planning to come along, no fighting amongst the trainers to leap into BAU though. Going to cost a fortune as she whom must be obeyed has decreed l'hotel boutique for the weekend.

Be good to see Gnu as that was my pops boat ...

Another Banbury boat on it's way - alot to learn! Thinking of something with more weather protection than camping though - got enough string to worry about during the day without tripping over guy ropes on the way home!

Andy,

I have just put two and two together! I bought the Gnu off your dad some years ago, in fact must have been around '99-2000. She was a nice boat and sailed well. I remember back in '97 whilst sailing at the Whitstable champs seeing your mum and dad sailing the Gnu very well. Sold her to Mike Hendy, as I then aquired 3478, and she then went up to Banbury where she obviously now resides. Glad to hear she is still going strong.

Good to hear GG's history and that she is fondly remembered. We bought her from Gerald Whittaker in September and look forward to filling in her history. I started crewing in Merlins at Chase SC in the late 60's with Kern Collins 502/Korin and 2122/Conquest. Great to be back in the fold. Senior management have decreed that the weekend should be moderately civilised i.e. there must be somewhere to plug in my hair straiteners so we have booked at the Coach House, South Luffeham. Understand from the owners that we will not be alone and should have some company for bar debriefs and nightcap. Good to hear Kieron will be with us from Banbury.

save a spave for us too, 3239 Blitz. Hopefully we will have figured out how to keep it upright by then :)
