In addition a Cotton Sail Challenge Trophy will be awarded for best performance using cotton sails (on vintage rig) to encourage vintage boats to sail in vintage condition .

This is also a shared event with the cvrda so any boats over 25 years old and designed before 1965 are welcome - as long as they are monohulls not more than 16 foot (lake limit)!
If there's enough Merlins we'll probably get our own start.
