Topic : Carbon Mast and Boom wanted

Anyone got a carbon mast and boom which they would sell? would be nice to get the mast in one piece, but might consider straight foward repairs.

Could you could let me know by e mail what type of mast it is, repair history(if any)and other relative virtues (soft vs hard,SS vs Chip. etc)- rigging / bag I'd be very grateful.

I've been asked for clarification about the 'straight forward' repairs - I do understand that almost all broken masts which are available for repair will have 3 or more breaks - due to the ecomomics of professional repair, and that is generally OK, so long as there are no bits missing or crushed sections!

Chipstow prefered

Thanks for the link - Seems like good value for a mast and new sails.

I don't know much about the 'high aspect' side of the advert, I'm presuming it can't simply be shortened to make it a 'contemporary aspect' mast without moving the gooseneck and more. So basically need to use it as it comes.

I'll look into it though,

Thanks again, and I don't mind getting the mast and boom from different places!

Thanks Dave, had a good chat with the boatyard this morning, but find the excellent mast is sadly outside of my budget.

The high aspect SS would be fiddly to convert, so back to the search for a mast and boom

Thanks to everyone for the help so far!
