Topic : Merlin no. 30

I've been asked whether Merlin no. 30 still exists and if so where she is now.

The 1947 Year Book states that she was built by Anderson Rigden & Anderson, named 'Marcel' and owned by J H Miller of the Royal Forth Y C. Her second owner was probably Chris Nisson who currently lives near Tamesis Club. She was called 'Zig Zag'then. In the current Year Book she's called 'Minnehaha'.

The yachting annuals I have don't cover all the early years but she's not in any Championship results in those I do have.

The 1951 YB records her as 'Minnehaha' and owner as P.W.Inwood, 86 Holland Park, W11 and Royal Motor YC.
The 1962 and many subsequent YBs shows the owner as Marshall (no initials), Highlea, Golf Road, Kenley, Surrey. No club recorded. No further changes have been recorded after that.

For the record I know that no. 54 and no. 90 no longer exists - I have various 'spares' from these boats but the hulls now R.I.P
