Hi,

Can anyone tell me where i can purchase the plyfoam sheets from and wheather any one has used it on decks and bulkhead also if it makes a big enough weight reduction to make it worth using.

Hi Paul,

If you are referring to the foam sandwich ply used on Pat Blakes old boat 3640 then I believe Laurie Smart sourced this from Robbins Timber of Bristol.

I can get it confirmed if you want?

No mention of it on a quick glance but there should be contact numbers.  I got Elite from them delivered to Aberdeen and it came well packaged and was delghted.

Ps. Laurie confirmed to me at the time of reporting on the build of 3640 that the foam ply weighs 40% less than conventional Gaboon ply.
