Topic : SAils for a good home

I have 4 jibs 3xRowsell 2.93 1985, 2.93 1987, and one that is only marked No. 3 with no measurement date. One 1978 2.73, I don't recognise logo.
2 spinnakers, 1 is Hyde in red/grey/white the other is white again with a logo I don't know. I assume both are smaller size.
2 mains - 1991 Hyde just marked MAX and a 1996 loose footed Rush 2475.
All our in reasonable condition with no tears etc and mains are complete with battens.
I live in Hertfordshire and I am looking to pass these on to someone who needs them.

Good evening - I hope all is well,

I might be able to offer your sails a reasonably good home,

I have two oldies - 1775 "Scampy one" which I have sailed for a couple of years now at my Local - Cransley sailing club, and 582 'Zonda' - which I bought off ebay last year as a project....
I realise now that "projects" are not always quite as easy as they first look - no decks and some quite radical re working of the deck support structure - so i guess its going to end up looking more like a mk9 proctor with flat sides rather than the rolled decks it was born with... - still I hope it should be in the water by may / june....

the sails that I have look and feel kinda like old used handkies so i guess they are a tad past their prime........

hopefully aiming to do a couple of rounds of the vintage series later in the year if I can get my woodworking skills on track,

If some or all of your sails are still available - Then I'd very much like to offer them some use, and more than happy to compensate with a bottle of finest scottish nectar !

Jim Vokes

ps any history/ hints and tips etc welcome!!!
