A very strange thing, my undercover for Make It So has been in winter storage at work, On top of a rack on a mazzanine floor for the last three months average 28 degrees. Although this has been fine for the boat and equipment, the undercover is now abot 12'' shorter. It was always a tight, but it just will not go on over the transom at all. It is definately the cover and not how I'm fitting it. I have even tried it when the boat was upside down whilst revarnishing the underside of the decks. One good thing the boat is still the same size. Does anyone have a used undercover for CT or simular they are willing to sell at a reasonable price. Or does anyone need a good undercover for a 13' merlin? Any help appreciated. John 07785 341153

Try wetting the cover - then it'll probably fit.

Or get friendly sailmaker to add a bit!

They all seem to do this, as Pete suggested a good soaking in a bath followed by either putting on the boat or a good pull about.

Thanks for the advice. I was ready to throw it away. I have soaked it and put it on wet with no problems. I will leave it on the boat and will stay there at room temp until it is dry. It really was 12'' short and very supprised that all is now fine. Thanks again. John Haynes

Thanks for the great tip! Am now working my way through the trouser wardrobe, shirt cupboard and will get round to the wetsuit and drysuit which have inexplicibaly shrunk since last season and specifically since Christmas - must be the cold weather!!

Surely your tailor can ease the collar.
