Yearbook says 1944 is Flying Wild and is a Hoare Proctor IXb built in 1966.

I think it was owned by Graham Pike and Patrick King, one of the top crews at Hamble in the late 1960s

I agree, members should refrain from publishing personal information extractedfrom the year books. It is easy to forget this is a globally open web site and the information provided in the year book is privately restricted to members of the association only.

Whilst people, like Tony, provide a useful service going through the old year books, perhaps the 'public' information should be restricted to boat name, number and the club it was at. Further information only to be provided directly to bone-fide MROA members.

It would be a shame to lose the contact details from the year book, because people start withholding their details, as it is very useful for MROA members contacting each other from time to time.

Point taken. I'll restrict the information in future. I had overlooked that the forum was not restricted to MROA members as are the year books. Apologies.

I have removed the comment which revealed names/address/phone number. I just wanted to keep the following 3 sentences as they were useful:
------------------------

MR 1944 'Flying Wild' is a Proctor designed mk 1Xb built by Bob Hoare in 1966 for Graham Pike of Hamble River SC. They finished 10th in the Champs at Poole in 1967.
Graham, crewed by Patrick King, went on to finish 3rd in the 1970 champs in 'Gigolo', 3rd again but with Tessa as crew in 'Hemlock' at Falmouth in 1979 and 5th in both 1980 at Weymouth and 1981 at Exemouth.
