Blackpool and Fleetwood Yacht Club will be running their annual open pursuit race on the 28th December, starting at 1030hrs.
Richard Whitworth won in 2006 and 2007, and in January 2008, Matt Mee took the honours in his world class Fireball.
It would be good to see a load of Northern Merlins at this great event, so why not digest the Turkey with a few great laps of the Wyre?
Hopefully, Richards new Merlin will be ready in time to take back the title!
