Topic : Bring a boat - Ranelagh 30th November

Don't forget to bring your boats to the dinner for the open meeting on Sunday.

My bro has kindly volunteered to do the catering for the open meeting so it would be quite useful if you could drop me a quick e-mail or reply on here if you are coming to sail.

Also if you would like to park your boat somewhere in Putney on Saturday in preparation for Sunday please let me know too...

Its going to be really good. One of London's premier sailing venues, controversially overlooked for 2012.

Cheerio,

Franny G

Hi Fran,

Jude and I will be competing Sunday - boat storage sat night would be good - in case we don't get home....

What do we need to do?

Quick question... Are car parking tickets transferable if no longer required for this event?

If one needs to pay and display on your boat or trailor to avoid clampage overnight - where should it be displayed?

Many thanks.

Hi Graham,

It will slightly depend on numbers I think. I think the Ranelagh shed is pretty full so the most recent plan I heard was to drop boats off at my house. If there are only one or two there won't be a problem putting them in the carpark, otherwise it is a very wide street which no-one ever parks cars on but has lots of pay and display parking which will be finished by then anyway... but as you're the first to ask you can go in the drive anyway...

Fran

Dear Mr Warden,

Interesting that you have a name very similar to the theme of your question. Fortunately no-one from the Warden family has bought any tickets for the dinner so you can just turn up for racing on the Sunday. Don't be late though as I do believe we are sailing together and I don't like rigging in a rush.

Cheerio.
