Don't worry Splatto we'll be there next year for the Whitstabubble action.
It looks like you all had a wonderful time (I hope Mark looked after my bateau)

Rachel and I have just spent an hour in a helicopter flying around the Grand Canyon so whilst I'm gutted to have missed out I'm certainly making the most of things state side. See you all in September.

A great week's sailing, Looe SC did us proud, the beach organisation was just fantastic, trollies brought out and boats held as you came in to the beach, a team helping to pull boats up, prompt starts, big waves,

(cold showers though, oh dear)

Broke some rudder fittings and the puller which put paid to our champs contentions! And with Gangsta Paradise an official "old boat" we weren't going to get that one either.

Many thanks to the champs organisers and to the sponsors

A well organised event and great performance by Looe Sailing Club on and off the water. Have to say, some great sailing conditions and close racing, we could only compliment all involved behind the scenes.
Hywell Jnr, you'll be pleased to know the boat is at your parents in one piece, washed and clean, ready for the next event witht eh Duke of Splatt.
Hopefully Whitstable will have the wind next year as feel sure the club and organisers will rise to the occasion.
