Could anyone help with the dimensions of the "standard" square-topped hoop please (length of vertical and horizontal struts)? I'm going to have a go at making my own (unless anyone is selling one second hand?????).

The vertical length is defined by the clearance you need to get the boom over (with a little tension) with your maximum rake on!
