We were playing with him downwind!! No only kidding. Fairly quick upwind but our lard had the edge downwind in Snorter. Fran obviously prefers another colour to the blue.

Yes the sails are pretty new and yes in good condition. We've actually been really pleased with them. They are exactly the same as Taxi's, Gilberts and Biggs so you can't go wrong.
If we can sell them for a reasonable price we will buy some brand new speeds for the champs simply for that mental edge (God knows I need it!). If not it doesn't matter. We decided this was going to be the game plan at the start of the season.
I think you will find that I'm not the only sailor who sells on recently used sails.
Barnsie - I've always been rubbish on broad reaches and runs on waves - usually too busy having a pee over the transom. I hope you didn't get any splash-back there! ... Ho Ho Ho Cheers!
