Hamish and I are coming down to the nationals and would very much like to borrow a boat to save us towing mine all the way there and back and would be nice to try a newer boat. Might even tempt me to buy a newer one.

Just think of all the fuel you'll save at 50mph though!

NSM2 on ebay might be cheaper than the petrol.

At 50 they'll use less fuel than speeding along! So no saving!

Thanks for letting me know Dave. As for buying an NSM2 - we are just getting our excuses in early.

We have no excuses now Hamish, other than my ability to tie myself in knots with the transom mainsheet on Dave's boat, bet I can invent a new knot! It's gonna be a blast!

Isn't that how Scots make omelettes. They start by borrowing a couple of eggs!
What a topic!
"Scots blokes looking to borrow .........."

A slur on the Scots a more gongenial worthy race its hard to imagine. Fair fa' their honest, sonsie face, Great chieftain o' the sailin'-race! Aboon them a' lest they tak your place, Weel are ye wordy o' a grace As lang's my arm.
But take note of the strong haggis fed Scot The trembling earth resounds his tread Clasped in his large fist a blade He'll make it whistle And legs and arms and heads he will cut off Like the tops of thistles
