On the scrounge!

Does anyone have a spare piece of 1mm thick 150mm long x 120mm wide clear plastic for a transom flap? Had enough for one only!!!

Richard, I got some from Tony at Sailsport in Exeter. Pretty cheap, you can do both flaps for around a fiver so hardly worth scrounging......

.. unless you are me and make a b**cks of it first time around in which case it will cost you a tenner. Note for future reference: Use scissors to cut it rather than a jigsaw.

Glad you are sorted. I guess I wasnt really very helpful as I could only offer offcuts and the embattled remnants of my first attempt.

Sorry John, should have said you must use scissors. I cut one out at the weekend but ran out of the stuff! Used scissors though ....... always use scissors!!;-)
