Topic : HELP SAIL SOS!!!!!

Dear Sailmakers

I have resently been trying to flatten out my leech on my kevlar main sail with a Steam iron. It was workin fine until the phone rang and accidently left it on the sail. Consiquently the leech is now chard a distorted. Any tips on returning it to its forma glory is welcome. Or any advice on where to get my new sails from????

I thought ironing sails went out when we moved from cotton to "terylene".
Obviously I have been missing out on some super speed enhancing improvement somewhere....

Unbiased advice is simple: go with one of the sailmakers that are doing well! They all have their followers.

Personally I use Speeds as they are local and are fast. But at the end of the day eevryone uses what the think is fastest and as long as you go with a sailmaker who is making sails that are at the front of the fleet you can't go far wrong if you do as you're told with them.

Make sure you buy sails suitable for your mast.
