Race Officer Mark Heritier did a first class job capturing on film the antics of the 'fast boys' of Wembley during the blustery conditions experienced on Sunday 16th. March. The carbon fibre mast on the Merlin usually gives the edge over the MRXs in a blow and managed to keep Messrs. Salmon and Garwood just ahead of a chasing pack of 3 MRXs in the first race. In the 2nd. race it |

Has any one tried a merlin rig on an MRX? 10kg Lighter! |
MRX class has been trialling a carbon mast for the past year - jury is still out as to whether it will benefit class. So far indications are that |
Seems that Wembley has been having its fair share 'good blows' this winter - nice to see the Merlin fleet on the up as well. Must be one of the hottest places for competitive racing in the capital me thinks - worth checking out. |

I'm glad Megan thinks it is getting windier. I thought it was just me getting more decrepit as the years go by. |
