Thought there was a smart party at the Royal Southern Y C to which the Warming Pan Competitors could go (As long as they paid!) and a lower key one at HRSC?

Most of Hamble are going to the crew ball at the Southern which you're all welcome to attend. Tickets are £32 - book now as I need to know numbers for the Champagne, food and Martini cocktails. Format is as follows

Aston Martin DB9 Volante on display outside the Club - come and drool!

1930 Champagne reception on arrival - you will be greeted by two bond girls and presented with a glass of champers in exchange for your ticket.

Upstairs we will have Black Jack and Roulette tables run by professional croupiers. We will provide you with fun money to gamble with.

The kitchen will serve a fine selection of Thai canapés, Cod Goujons, Spring rolls, samosas, Potato wedges and a selection of wraps.

Dawn Alacey will be performing the songs of bond along with a light, flame effect and sound show backed up by two dancers - more info here: www.jamesbondsongs.co.uk

As the gambling, dancing and martini's take their toll, chips in a cone will be served from the kitchen later in the evening to see you through to the end.

Contact the Sailing Office for your tickets: 02380 450 302 / [email protected]

All of which seems like a good reason for going home early and winning on Sunday!

Clicked on the site and have just had a plate of chips and listened to the songs on video. Just like being there without the £32 payment.
