As it was lost at sea ( the last posting that is) Looking for a project boat. |
How much of a project? Storm damage, transom split/falling off, planks parting, no fittings. gunwhales gone. |
I may of seen that one? |
That may have been the Satisfacion I sent photo of last week |
Again, how much of a project do you want?. I have a Rowsell / Omega FRP which hasnt been used for a couple of years now due to crew problems. It is as it was packed away, i.e. in a fully working condition, but now will probably need a varnish job. The hull should just needs a good clean and polish and should come up nice. If interested, I can e-mail photoes at the W/E. |
Graham, May be interested please email any photos |
This looks like a real Project boat to do http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Merlin-Rocket_W0QQitemZ110223687795QQihZ001QQcategoryZ98955QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |
Thanks |
'scuse me for asking but is that John Roberts (or Chris Roberts, I forget) who was looking last summer on the forum for a simlar project? |
The famous ebay tape measure's been used again there ;-) |
Curiously, the current highest bidder (cjr1100) on the current 'elongated' boat for sale, won the bidding on Nice Legs last October at £300 - shame if they're being snapped up for parts. |
No its not being brought to strip, Nice legs is up in Hartlepool have a new transom put on her, as when I brought it I did not know that it was smacked up the bum. You can never have enough boats. |
Man, I like your style!!!! |
At present I have 3330 NICE LEGS and 2245 Stormer. Nice Legs is having a bottom tuck and Stormer is now strip bare, after I got all the two pac off her. Once she is fully dried out, I will varnish her back to her glory, well the pic I have of her, you cant have too much varnish? |
