Topic : Ermm...buoyancy endorsements for the champs

Having finally located Heaven Sent's certificate the buoyancy endorsement is distressingly out of date. Are there any kind people with the equipment available before we add boat to water this weekend? (usual fee) With the forecast it looks as though we might just test it again

I'm sure the rules now say that you can do your own bouyancy test endorsements? Pretty sure that is the case.Rules changed a couple of years back. I'm sure GGGGGGGGGGG will clarify.

Cheers

I seem to do self updates on a regular basis without realising it!!

I have done this in the past but my interpretation of the present requirement of the rules is that when I do my test of the boat's buoyancy I have to have the test supervised and the certificate endorsed by a measurer. If this is not so I will just sign it myself again

As I understand it, your annual endorsement should be signed by a Club official (your own club) and countersigned by yourself. Alternatively, I imagine Chairman Steve will be able to assist you when you arrive at Pwllheli SC.

See you there!

Mike,

As former commodore and current member of t'committee @ Midland can you endorse Whyte Mischief's bouyancy cetrificate for us on arrival @ Pwllhei please? You've witnessed our (unsuccessful) attempts to sink her!

bouyancy endorsement is self certificated with an 'Official' as witness. I can do this but need GGGG to do mine!
