Since it is a lake, it'll probably be the roads that determine the go-ahead. At present the smaller roads across the Thames at Sutton Courtney and Clifton Hampden (our usual route from the A34) are closed but the main roads are open. A415 from Abingdon may yet flood. BBC travel news has details.

I now live in Dorchester (although I won't be at the open meeting this weekend as it is my grans birthday).

The road to the lake is ok and the water level is coming down.

Hope all are well.

Just passing this message on:

Our lake is not affected by the floods as it is not connected to the river Thames. We could still do with another 2 or 3 feet of water!
See you on Saturday

Additional:

All the major A roads are open & none are affected by floods.
At present we have a fleet of 6 confirmed boats, so come along and make this the event of the summer!!
The forecast says there may even be some sun - but that is not guaranteed.
