Despite dodgy spelling of her surname on the Lark website Ellie is leading the Lark nationals crewing for Nigel Hufton at the moment with a very consitent 2nd place in the first two races. 2 more today so fingers crossed!

Oh yes - and Toby Lewis, who will be joining us at the nationals for his first sail go in a merlin is lying in second (and has already won the Duckhams award for stupidity / under acheivement which bodes well).

Mark - As an ex-Duckhams champion you should know. There's a great atmosphere at Looe and the club organisation is working well - especially the beachmasters getting everyone berthed, launched, and in and out in the tight streets and small sea front area and between the sandcastles and bathers. Good portents for the Merlins next year though worth arriving early or late to miss crowded town centre as reversing a wide Merlin in a narrow street could be rather interesting!!
